All under the age of 16, brothers Jonny, Robbie and Tommy Mizzone are from New Jersey, a US state that's better known for the rock of Bruce Springsteen than the bluegrass of Earl Scruggs. Nonetheless, the siblings began performing bluegrass covers, as well as their own compositions, at a young age. Here, they play three dazzling songs in three different keys, passing the lead back and forth from fiddle to banjo to guitar. The 10 Best Places To Live In New Jersey For 2018. ============= ► Subscribe for latest video ! ► https://goo.gl/lOasu9 ============= New Jersey is often associated with a lot of bad things. The Garden State is accused of having some of the highest taxes in the country. And being too populated. A land mostly made up of highways, yet traffic is a constant theme here. The thing is, though, every place has its own ups and downs. And while Jersey has some pretty nasty ones, it is not short of its fair share of plusses. Like its enviable location – it is possible to work in New York and live in New Jersey; or spend a Saturday in Philadelphia and be back home for dinner. New Jersey is a beautiful state with plenty of shore towns and beloved diners. Its rural farmland is a source of fresh l...

Ever wondered why Michigan has two pieces? How about why Alaska isn't connected to the rest of the United States? The state borders are a lot weirder than they first appear, and often simple river borders will have crazy zig-zags that seem to arbitrarily cross the river. When rivers shape, borders don't, leaving states with strange pieces on the wrong side of the river. Some states like Oklahoma and West Virgina have bizarre panhandles, and Kentucky even has a part cut off my Missouri. Its a strange border situation called an exclave, which is when a part of a the state is only reachable by land through other states or countries. Virginia also has the eastern shore which is strangley is on the other side of the Chesapeake bay. Other bizarre borders include New York and New Jersey, ...

This is the glowing center of the New York Theater District. When you picture New York, Times Square is probably the second thing that comes to mind (after the city’s famous skyline), with its neon signs, giant buildings, and constant stream of humanity coming and going. Times Square adopted its name in 1904, after the New York Times moved in. The newspaper has since moved on, but the moniker stuck. Once you arrive in the Big Apple, head on down to the center of Times Square, where you’ll find a plaza for you to sit, hang out, and people-watch. 5 Best Things to Do in New Jersey, United States New Jersey has developed a misleading reputation lately thanks to television programs such as The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Jersey Shore. But despite “McMansions” and the party destinations, the state has many beautiful natural and historic parks as well as world-class history and art museums. The state may be in the shadow of New York in terms of tourism but it should not be written off and has many sites to rival those of the Big Apple. It is even possible (and recommended) to visit two of New York’s most popular attractions from New Jersey: the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Explore the cities and experience life on the Shore but also take the exit off the freeway and sample New Jersey farm life and natural beauty. Here...

In 1664, after the English conquered New Netherland, King Charles II granted the former Dutch territories as a proprietary colony to his brother James, Duke of York, who later became King James II. The Duke divided the colony into New York and New Jersey, reserving New York for himself as the “Duke’s province” and giving New Jersey to his friends John, Lord Berkeley, and Sir George Carteret. Berkeley and Carteret eventually sold their shares to other investors, called proprietors, resulting in the division in 1676 of the colony into East and West Jersey. From the outset of the grant from the Duke of York to Berkeley and Carteret, jurisdictional disputes arose between New York and New Jersey. Before he learned about the gift to Berkeley and Carteret, Governor Richard Nicolls of New York ma...

In 1906 the muckraking journalist Lincoln Steffens called New Jersey “a traitor state” because in his view New Jersey was controlled by a corrupt alliance between political bosses and big corporations. Large trusts, such as Standard Oil, were incorporated in New Jersey because its corporation laws were favorable to large holding companies. The first challenge to this status quo came from the so-called New Idea Republicans. In Jersey City a young Irish–Catholic undertaker named Mark Fagan was elected mayor on a reform platform advocating equal taxation of corporations and regulation of public utilities such as Public Service Electric and Gas. However, the New Idea movement was short-lived. Fagan and his fellow reformers were repudiated at the polls in the election of 1906. As the gubernat...
Enjoy the ride. From Woodcrest NJ to Santa Clara CA. Took I-80 most of the way except US50 in Nevada and I-70 in the east. The loneliest road in America (US50 in Nevada, starts around 32:30 in this video) is very scenic to drive on and there isn't a lot of road work like on the I-80. For the entire trip of just over 3000 miles, except a small part in Philadelphia, the whole trip has no tolls, the booth you see after crossing CA/NV border is for agriculture related inspection. Also worth mentioning, the drought in California in 2014 is bad, very bad Dash cam: Powerucc Panorama 2

Gov. Phil Murphy Will Destroy New Jersey. New Jersey has now voted in another well-connected wealthy Goldman-Sachs businessman. Whether is it be Democrat or Republican, in the State of New Jersey, all politicians are part of the money 'robber-barons' and have strong ties to the entrenched rackets in the State. One industry that Phil Murphy will be pushing for is the 'mental health industry' and it's pharmaceutical drugs, as New Jersey's most popular occupations involve 'family therapy', mental health and counselling. It's big business in New Jersey with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals having it's headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The consequences of diagnosing more people with metal health ailments in NJ, will be an initial profit surge for the pharmaceutical companies, followed by a drop in p...
